Steve Smith is the Chief Financial Officer for DMG. He joined the organization in 2002 and has been a key figure in driving growth, profitability, and implementing the appropriate policies and procedures throughout organizational changes. Steve has focused on generating meaningful reporting to help drive business direction and mitigate risk. Today, Steve focuses on strategic acquisitions, business development and oversees the organizations’ overall financial strategy.

Steve’s background is diverse, having worked in fuel, distribution, and engineering businesses, as well as several years in public accounting. He has a degree in Zoology and was a Chartered Accountant in the UK.

Steve was raised in England but has called the Midsouth home for the last 32 years. He and his wife currently reside in Jonesboro. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially his two children who live in Dallas.
